    Palladian Partners is a seeking a forward-thinking and seasoned health communications strategist and team leader to oversee delivery of high-quality communications results for our public health clients. The associate director will be responsible for guiding project teams to understand clients’ needs, develop strategic plans, as well as manage timelines and guide predictable, efficient workflows and processes. This role will provide leadership in developing and executing the overall health communications strategy to meet project and client goals. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach to leadership and problem solving. Passion for creative communications solutions to meeting public health challenges is a must.

    • Serve as a corporate monitor overseeing several federal health communications projects
    • Provide leadership in defining the strategic approach, design and implementation requirements and supporting team members as they translate that into work plans, timelines and tasks
    • Lead a team of project directors, managers, coordinators and communication strategists
    • Collaborate with creative and digital teams to align priorities and deliver strategic results
    • Monitor progress across multiple projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time; adjust resources and priorities as needed
    • Take part in refining internal procedures, processes, and methodologies


    • 10+ years progressively responsible experience in project management of complex communications projects that include social marketing, digital strategy and web development, preferably in a client service organization or agency; federal project management a plus
    • Experience as a supervisor and leading teams
    • Strong communication and project management skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for communication strategy and planning
    • Experience managing complex projects and resources in a matrixed environment
    • Team orientation with a collaborative approach to problem solving
    • Effective spoken and written communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is a plus
